Daily Duties at Shaw Construction:

• Review, process and maintain 135+ subcontractor contracts worth over $150 million; insurance, bonds, change orders worth over $40 million, monthly pay applications, disperse checks and OCIP. • Verify general invoices and operating expenses of approximately $250K while reducing operating costs substantially striving to get back in line with the original budget. • Submit owner monthly billing, The Arrabelle at Vail Square, $201 million project. Reduced the owner payment turnaround from 60 days to less than 40 days. • Review budget and expenses with the project manager to address risks and general ledger postings. Resulting in extensive cost savings and cost avoidance of due to attention to detail by both. • Additional responsibilities: tracking buyout log, job costing, employee management, office management, close-out. • The project was completed on-time in December 2008 and was a financial success for Shaw Construction.
