Daily Duties at Att Core (Noc) :

Tier 2/3 technical support for all of ATT domestic and foreign T-1/E-1 facilities. Manage, repair, install and oversee maintenance of special subject projects (SME) for satellite and Digital Compression MUX Equipment (DCME) for AT&T on a T-1/E-1 level. This is 20:1 voice compression using algorithms and time/frequency domain compression. Responsible for fault location on fiber-optic undersea cables at VC 12 level, as well as other technologies. Work with all domestic local exchange carriers and foreign transport carriers. Worked as a SME for international and domestic facility protocols along with tier 2/3 support for technologies of my expertise. Managed network management systems with Network Operations center under this same capacity. Project manage, install, prototype, and develop a remote communication system for the DCME technologies for the international ATT facilities. This involved routers, intranet, protocols, and operating system conflicts. The network management systems involve working with customers to resolve maintenance issues. Worked/managed WMS tickets for the international arena.
