Daily Duties at L Con Engineers & Constructors:
Directed all engineering efforts, $750K budgets, and teams of up to 30 engineers and designers for projects with major refinery clients. Developed and monitored project schedules, man-hour estimates, and project budgets. Supervised detailed engineering and liaised directly with client personnel to ensure the continuous achievement of quality standards and client specifications. • Generated profits 150% beyond initial projections on a major conversion project by delivering the project to completion 25% under budget. • Turned around existing challenges in client relationships by addressing issues, developing and obtaining approval for new schedules, scopes, and forecasts, and by maintaining strong, ongoing communication. • Brought focus and direction to a difficult, fast-tracked project by educating the client on long-range planning, scheduling, and forecasting techniques to develop a viable project plan.
