Daily Duties at Owens Brockway:
Responsible for mechanical systems design, purchase and field installation of all mechanical systems equipment related to glass manufacturing plants. System design experience including: Glass furnace systems for; cooling wind, cooling water, furnace aspiration & exhaust, oil, natural gas fuels and oxygen enrichment, Glass forming machine systems design including; compressors, after-coolers, vacuum pumps, air dryers, chillers and all system filtration and piping. Facilities systems design, including cooling towers, oil separation units, wastewater filtration, fire protection systems and plant HVAC equipment. Most projects ranged in size from 100K to 8MM.
