Daily Duties at Lighthouse Academies, Inc.:
Responsible for identifying, developing, designing, and implementing creative solutions to data, technology and communication needs of the company and the 11 school sites in the LHA network (spread throughout the East Coast and Midwest and Southern Regions of the country). • Develop a strategic plan for meeting needs of the organization and the network of schools. • Engineer secure network solutions including written plans and designs, communications and design reviews and manage network projects, including the opening of new schools. • Monitor utilization of the company network and plan for and install adequate levels of resources to meet the needs of the staff. • Design, implement and manage document management program for the organization. • Design, implement and manage backup and disaster recovery program for the company. • Migrated external systems (email, website, etc.) to internal servers to provide for better functionality and control. • Relevant technology includes: Cisco Pix, Fortinet and Juniper firewalls, Extreme Networks WLAN, Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Unity Express, Avaya PBX and VOIP, MOSS 2007, Extreme Networks, HP Network environments.
