Daily Duties at Mza Events:
o Writer, in-house editor, and PR associate for major event planning firm that produces widely successful AIDS Walk campaigns nationwide. o Responsible for identifying and pitching all media outlets throughout New York City, NY; Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Los Angeles, CA; and San Francisco, CA for proper media coverage of all AIDS Walks. o Composed and designed all AIDS Walk newsletters, wrote majority of all articles published in AIDS Walk Program Guides, wrote event press releases, brainstormed and composed advertising slogans, and wrote public service announcement scripts. o Organized and aided with production of national Public Services Announcements featuring various celebrities. o Worked closely with CEO and Development Director in creating advertising campaigns, long-term strategic media awareness plan, and revamping fundraising campaigns.
