Spent the first five years teaching all high school grades in English, with a main focus on writing and literature response. Advised the high school newspaper and yearbook; focusing on writing skills. The last year I was hired as a Dean of Students, serving in an administrative capacity supervising staff and handling student discipline. I also conducted staff in-services and training to align our curriculum with state standards.
