Cost Engineer Empowered with full accountability for manufacturing and assembly, design, application engineering, purchasing/vendor qualifications, quality assurance (FDA, cGMP & ISO 9001), job costing(per ABC costing), margin calculations, new materials evaluation, & staff development. Key Accomplishments: Cost Engineering * Achieved over $500,000 of revenue growth for 5 new customers via successful job costing. * Managed 5 product kick offs with Engineers, Production Control, Customer & Manufacturing. * Negotiated lead times meeting the diverse needs for company & customer alike. * Constructed over 100 quotes for devices used across the medical field. * Reconfigured company purchasing methods saving bottom line revenue via supplier negations. * Developed quotes encompassing the transference of entire multi-million dollar customer production lines to Ethox International Buffalo NY facilities. * Advises sales of program operating budgets, and influenced company into new product markets thru market research, & forecasting. * Added $100,000 of new revenue by updating quotes for all of their existing customers. Process Improvement * Moved a stagnant project thru its’ prototype phase & into its’ marketing phase without cost by designing a bellows. Praised by customer & added $2,000 of NRE revenue. * Met a wide variety of, customer/program needs by directly engaging customer in their design & redesign iterations. * Expanded company into new markets by designing a creative way to thermal print large images onto PVC material securing $10,000 of projected NRE & $50,000 first year sales. * Gained knowledge of plastic/rubber material properties, RF Welding, & their bondability
