Collaborated with clients to research products and services. Developed concepts for marketing pieces / kits to be used by independent agents. Wrote copy for all pieces. Provided consulting and creative direction to marketing departments, inside wholesalers, sales and independent agents, brokers, human resources, IT, and Citigroup’s Smith Barney. Updated quarterly publication of performance data and fund manager summaries for mutual funds sold through Travelers products. • Received Hartford Advertising Club Silver Award for 401(k) product launch kit. • Earned International Association of Business Communicators Bronze Quill Award for agent recruitment kit. • Managed direct mail project that drew a 10% direct response from inactive account holders. • Positioned company for competitive online presence by collaborating with team to develop Travelers’ first external website.
