Collaborated with company’s ad agency in development of marketing collateral for an innovative product that provided premium discounts for managing one's health. Wrote all copy for the kit, including a brochure, product detail sheets, health programs booklet and plan summary. Also wrote print ads for WalkRI, an annual eight week program to improve the health of RI residents. Edited company's monthly newsletter, distributed to 1,400+ employees. Sourced topics, assigned articles to writing staff, edited articles, researched and wrote select articles, and worked with designer on layout and photos. Wrote white papers on issues key to company and RI's health care system. • Volunteered to manage daily updates to company intranet, an important vehicle for communicating company activities, issues, and corporate announcements. • Introduced creativity to communications department, including new ads for community WalkRI program; new product brochure drew 90% employee enrollment during an internal pilot test.
