Held accountability for analyzing and reconciling hospital census reports with business office reports. Promoted to handle timely billing and claims processing for healthcare clients in strict adherence with internal and external guidelines and polices, including HIPAA regulations. Posted transactions, reconciled, and validated accounts; reviewed balances to identify and resolve discrepancies, as well as reimbursement and coding errors; communicated with client and escalated issues as necessary. Reached out to national and local vendors to expedite claims adjudication and improve reimbursement timeframe. Created and distributed billing / receivables reports, schedules to provide key information to influence management decision making. Attended annual educational / professional development forums to contribute to facility compliance programs.
