Daily Duties at Jacobs Engineering:

Mechanical Designer. Mr. Armstrong’s responsibilities included HVAC layout and design for Lockheed Missiles and Space Company, Inc. in Sunnyvale, CA. He designed chill water constant volume and variable volume systems. He calculated block loads, heat gain factor, and material takeoffs. He also worked on fire protection layouts and design. Mr. Armstrong worked on industrial ventilation, pneumatic conveying of zinc carbonate, dust collectors, and chutes. He processed piping drawings and ISO’s for Shell Oil Refinery.
