Daily Duties at Hazelden Foundation:
•Responsible for running and maintaining all aspects of a fitness center open to staff, volunteers and patients of Hazelden. •Managed fitness specialists, fitness technicians and administrative personnel for the fitness center and customer service desk. •Scheduled staff to ensure adequate coverage. •Worked with management to keep budget balanced for staff salaries and fitness center supplies and maintenance. •Performed fitness evaluations on patients for exercise approval. •Designed exercise plans for patients, many with chronic pain or injuries, and discussed lifestyle and behavior modifications to live a healthy and sober life. •Designed exercise plans for company staff and made rounds to encourage existing exercisers and answer health related questions.
