Daily Duties at Texas Instruments:

Managed and ran the 20,000 square foot floor on a daily basis and multi-tasked to testing of 1 million die per day. • Supervised a team of 20 probe manufacturing specialists. • Managed and approved time, corrective action, reviews and interviewed prospective employees. • Performed coaching sessions, written and final warnings as well as terminations. • Managed 10 Fusion testers, 119 V.L.C.T.’s, 10 Polaris and 4 V-series testers, Backgrind, including tape and detape areas, while maintaining 85% equipment utilization. • Facilitated 2 Quality Improvement teams, 1 scrap and 1 cycle tine, decreased scrap by 1% and costs by 150k per quarter. • Ran EH & S meetings on a weekly basis and completed and supervised Safety audits. • Trained new supervisors on company policies and procedures, as well employee time and record keeping. • Increased production by using a plus/minus delta system, which would directly reflect operator performance on their reviews on a bi-yearly basis.
