Daily Duties at Motorola:
1: Developed automated software for Stage 2 IS-95A and 1X interoperability testing in C in LabWindows CVI environment and Visual Basic. 2: Developed departmental website in Perl and HTML on a UNIX platform to report and record all cellular infrastructure and software within the group. 3: Provided lab support for all testing personnel addressing IS-95, cellular infrastructure and software issues within the group. Worked with technicians to solve issues with both test systems and test equipment. 4: Created methods to perform IS-95A, IS-95B, and IS-2000 tests for interoperability labs. 5: Developed proficiency is IS-95 and J-STD-008 standards. 6: Develop hardware and software for accelerated life testing system on base station transmitters. Performed root cause analysis on any failures that occurred during testing. 7: Interfaced with various engineering groups about requirements for testing, and then implementing requirements in the test. 8: Documented all processes used in accelerated life testing laboratory. Extensive use of RF equipment, TCP/IP, and LabVIEW to develop automated testing system. 9: Use statistical methods to derive quality of paging infrastructure. Implemented procedures to increase flexibility of testing. 10: Derived methods of testing equipment. Increased testing capacity by 75% through software implementation.
