Daily Duties at Alcatel Lucent:
Alcatel-Lucent Benin for Globacom project – Telecom vendor – around 40M USD Oversaw: As the Chief Technical Officer (CTO) in Alcatel-Lucent Benin for Globacom Benin. My technical responsibilities are covering all technical areas as Access, Transmission, Core, IN/VAS, Billing, Call Center Main responsibilities are: - Lead the definition and support the efficient implementation of the technical strategy; - Definition and update of the full end-to-end architecture (radio, core, transmission, vas) and design according to network evolution; - Manage overall Implementation activities by directly managing operational teams and creating synergies between teams - Define and control project Implementation plan - Ensure interface with the customer’s representatives. - Deliver right technical support to the customer (Level 1/2) - Co-ordinate the answer to unresolved technical issues and fault reports between BDs - Advise customer on his technical requirements, to drive the network expansion according to Alcatel-Lucent product - Support Sales & Tendering for the technical aspects of the product/services and for validation of new offers - Develop the local skills - Ensure a top Quality of Service based on Radio, Core and End-User KPIs - Review of all Capital Acquisition Requests, Purchase Requests in lines with the approved budget and keep track of the CARs and contracts to ensure timely completion of projects within the approved budget. Network build from scratch now with 1 million subscribers after one year
