Senior Manager IT Built 22-person team of technical, analytical, and management professionals to manage data governance, warehousing, reporting, and IT support functions enabling full data and systems improvement cycle for business. Devise/execute strategic- and tactical-level plans to surpass enterprise targets for system performance and availability. Research and evaluate cutting-edge technologies whose implementation drives productivity and innovation. Coordinate full lifecycle IT projects. Establish/cultivate relationships with technology vendors and service providers. Assess team and individual performance. • Launched and achieved Cognos major version upgrade from V7 to V8.4 including Powerplay Server, ReportNet, Powerplay Client, all Personal Folders, and scheduled jobs. • Spearheaded data migration and consolidation into single enterprise warehouse during acquisition of multi-million-dollar organizations such as SSA Global, Extensity (Geac), and Systems Union. • Increased software maintenance/renewal data cleanliness more than 2-fold by directing 20-person contract team. • Developed executive-level dashboards with detailed drill-down capabilities to aid in proactive business forecasting, strategic planning, and decision making. Includes KPI trending and 360 degree customer reporting. • Instituted robust policies and practices to facilitate data integrity and security. • Established super-user environment enterprise-wide to create a self sufficient user base addressing minor obstacles in information, which enabled business intelligence group to address strategic issues. • Crafted system/process alterations that slashed CRM support resources/costs by 50%. • Improved system uptime from 93% to 99% by developing 24x7 distributed support structure. • Eliminated 60 days from reference data migration cycle and improved/automated processes to mitigate audit exposure for 12 major acquisition data migrations. • Initiated and led project to redefine the Infor Product structure using Off Shore resource team to increase efficiencies in the Product Management, Order Entry, Fulfillment, Support, and Finance departments, decrease IT Support, and increase speed to market for the 150,000 product Sku set.
