Daily Duties at Target Import Warehouse:
Directly supervised 16 personnel. Per shift, supervised up to 46 personnel in a 1.8 million sq. ft. automated warehouse facility, serving 27 Regional Distribution Centers, and over 1,500 stores. Trained, mentored, and evaluated team members based on six performance factors: productivity, quality, reliability, safety, teamwork, and job knowledge. Used a citrix-based software application to manage warehouse inventory. Directly managed the receiving, loading and diverting up to 450,000 cartons of freight per week in a high speed, safety focused environment. • Led team to excel the inbound department in productivity expectations resulting in all team members exceeding productivity expectations. • Planned and conducted “Individual Development Plan” meetings with 10 GL peers to share ideas and promote continuous development. • Co-led and streamlined expansion/contraction of WH to improve warehouse operations, which resulted in a Green Best Practice Assessment
