Supported EDA tools and flows used by designers cross-site in different business units working on products for Freescale customers. Highly knowledgeable of the Cadence dfII environment, worked on simulation, environment setup, flows and tool issues.  Provided world-wide CAD support for Analog-Mixed signal, Digital, RF teams in EDA, front and back end design verification tools, environment and design methodologies for automating IC design  Functioned as the sole CAD support for all the design teams at Texas, engaging with electrical engineers on identifying new and more efficient ways to complete designs faster and more robust  Organized and coordinated a monthly technical seminar with members of Freescale global AMS team  Improved, updated and evaluated the Automation scripts using Perl to be used for improving speed and productivity of the deliverables of SRAM and Non-Volatile Memory design teams.  Administered new/existing project setup, maintenance, alignment with PDK/DDK/IO releases and internal/vendor EDA tool installation and setup  Contributed towards evaluation and certification of the new EDA supplier tools and capabilities  Interfaced with the tool vendors and internal PDK teams, created test cases for debugging purposes, to resolve current and critical issues
