Daily Duties at Ibm:

* Designed and implemented a highly segmented 100-baseT Ethernet network for this division's new location.

* Managed a staged server move project, providing server availability in both old and new office locations without end-user downtime.

* Implemented Seagate Backup Exec tape backups and negotiated an off-site tape backup storage site to provide disaster recovery.

* Created and maintained Windows NT based Lotus Notes servers to provide documentation and workflow services.

* Designed and built Windows 2000 and AIX servers to host an IIS / ASP web supply chain management application.

* Integrated Crystal Reports with IIS to provide reporting services to customers.

* Negotiated hosting for ASP and DB2 application servers in an IBM Internet hosting facility in North Carolina.

* Designed and implemented firewall rules to allow the Internet-facing application servers to communicate with each other and with back office servers in Illinois.

* Documented application server setup process and supported its implementation worldwide on hundreds of servers, both at IBM and customer facilities. Level 2 and level 3 support for application support help desk and application developers.
