Daily Duties at Ameriprise Financial Services:
Daily cash processes based in XRT, TEXs, TRAX, QUANTUM systems. Process company ACH/Wire transactions using various internal and external banking systems. Maintain near perfect accuracy rating , ensuring control and appropriate authorization when handling cash transactions. Monitoring and maintaining short term funds, working with reports (Alladin, Trader, etc.) Involved in determining the daily borrowing and repayment funds. Process, audit and research client federal and state Tax payments. Involved in set up of the tax payment requests into the database. Correspond with Tax and Accounting Departments to resolve problems. Process daily bank deposits. Recording Daily volume using Excel and Word spreadsheets. Balancing, research and clear bank reconciliation issues. Interface with the accounting department to ensure that all cash flows and accruals are accurately posted to the appropriate account. Perform analysis as required. Backup for various desks within Treasury when needed. Troubleshoot cash management issues and resolve them in a timely manner. Communicate and evaluate critical issues with management for resolution. Participate in department initiatives as assigned.
