Daily Duties at Renovis, Inc:
Managed the growth and maintenance of Company Wan/Lan environment, including wired and wireless security infrastructure. Installed a Cisco wireless environment that allowed for seamless wireless access throughout the company with both ‘guest’ and an ‘employee’ ssid’s for greater security. Upon going public, spearheaded the IT Sarbanes-Oxley program. Developed control matrix, implemented change control, quality assurance, and requirement documentation, which resulted in perfect technical compliance two years running. Recruited and managed department of four including, Data Base Architect, Senior Manager –Network/Systems, Senior Desktop Support Analyst, and Senior System Administrator. Initiated and implemented change to Symantec Netbackup 6.5 utilizing new equipment which increased backup speed and capacity. Upon Company acquisition by Evotec AG, transitioned entire IT infrastructure to standardize with acquiring company, including transitioning network, administrative infrastructure, and telecommunications. Accomplished this ahead of schedule, under budget and with no downtime for users.
