Daily Duties at Specialty Foods Group:
Human Resource Manager, Chicago Division Reported to the vice president of operations, with a dotted line to the corporate vice president of human resources. Solely responsible for all human resource management and payroll functions (ADP) at a 260 employee facility, including a sales office in Hillside and a warehouse in Summit. Consistently maintained exempt and non-exempt staffing at their proper levels during peak season and throughout the year. Coached and counseled a management and supervisory group to effectively handle employee problems, concerns, and disciplinary measures. Assisted in the development, implementation, and communication of new policies and benefits, including paid time off, flexible spending accounts, and a new dental insurance carrier.
