Responsible for Analog-System R&D of A/VDSL Modems. Developed optimal low-noise/distort.-passive/active/adaptive Hybrids that improved rate/reach performance. Development included: cost/effective architecture, mathematical analyses, design, simulation (MathCAD/ Spice), prototype & lab measurements, integration into Modem, and system-level performance verification. Developed a powerful Bring-up Board for AFE IC. Enabled smooth debug, integration, & lab.-qualification. Resolved difficult & complicated problems, like: measured ultra-low distortions (-90dBc), developed complex- compensated Hybrid for a customer Modem, found root cause of customer’s modem failure in CM testing – problem solved by dramatic improving CMRR.
