Daily Duties at Northeastern University:
Constructed an apparatus to measure gas permeability of fragile membrane specimens with custom designed computer data collection system. Fabricated specimen polymer zeolite mixed matrix gas separation membranes with a solvent cast blade coating technique. Performed hydrothermal synthesis of zeolite A for use in membranes and characterized the zeolite with scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction.
