Daily Duties at Herman Miller Inc.:
As a continuous improvement lead, I worked to redesign every aspect of the daily operations of my department. I ran 5S and Kaizen events. Redesigned how product was produced and delivered to the next department. I held the title of safety coordinator for over 4 years and during this period my department surpassed one calendar year without a recordable injury. For this my fellow coordinator and I were given the team of the year award at Herman Miller. I worked for over two years on the road with a warranty crew travling all over the United States repairing high-end office furniture.
