Daily Duties at Whitney National Bank:
As a Manager Trainee I worked in all areas of branch operation, from proof and teller work to Commercial Lender Assistant and Credit Analyst. I eventually transferred to Retail Branch Operation and became manager. Whitney Bank was more of a service institution and community participation. I was involved with the Chamber and Junior Achievement activities in addition to handling all branch function and credit and loan decision. As branch manager I had a $50,000 loan limit.
