Daily Duties at Maricopa Community Colleges:
Performed district wide needs analysis and compiled information for a PBX/Voicemail request for proposal (RFP) document; authored the RFP document for the acquisition of ten (10) NEAX 2400 IMS PBX systems with ACD and two (2) key systems to serve ten (10) community colleges and two (2) learning centers with a total of 7,500 users county wide. Developed the project plan, performed project management, responsible for oversight of the acquisition and implementation of all PBX and key systems which included centralized voice mail, E-911 services, cable plant management and call accounting. Worked closely with network manager and network staff to install enterprise wide ATM network. Implemented and supervised a centralized telecom service center staffed with six (6) certified technicians who provided enterprise-wide add, move and change service. RFP was released January, 1997; systems were installed between August, 1998 and July, 1999. Project budget: $6.5 million. Project was completed seven months ahead of schedule and on budget.
