Daily Duties at Lending Space Inc:

Project: Third Party Interfaces Lending Space, Inc. is providing portal with all mortgage services to mortgage companies and banks. As an application service provider, we are providing whole LOS platform (Intranet Application) where our users (Loan Officers, Underwriters, Closers) can go and process the loan using their specific username and password. Another part of mortgage services includes services for credit, flood, appraisal, title, docprep that are provided by different vendors. LendingXchg is the transaction platform where we have created interfaces with all these different vendors and which is separated to our Loan Origination Platform for security purpose. Designed and implemented a tree-structured parser and data interface engine consisted with Java, networking APIs, XML, XSLT, XSLFO. I was responsible for developing Interfaces with all different vendors for Appraisal, Flood, Title, and Closing Agents for different orders and BackOffice Interface Implementation. Designed secure architecture for communicating to outside vendors through Lending Space Network. Accepted challenges to work with all kind of different communication protocols such as Dialup, Socket, HTTPS, SOAP, SMTP FTP and different kind of data formats like EDI, XML, Variable length, fixed length, Email Attachment, PCL, PDF. Designed and implemented Controller Servlet to control all requests. Used XSLT files to transform XML documents into HTML. Designed and developed API for printing and displaying PDF/PCL/Excel/Word reports like mortgage statements, credit reports, and flood reports from web application. Implemented extensive error handling at each stage of Interface module, which can send an email or page to specific person or rerun the specific program based on severity of the issue. Responsible for creating and maintaining Deployment Descriptor files to deploy EJBs on Weblogic Server. Created custom software for internal release management for our different clients using Apache Ant and for issue management. Responsible for installing and configuring SSL Certificates and setting proxy related options while server configuration. Responsible for setting and deploying new software using Ant 1.5 Prepared Technical Specification using Object Oriented Concepts with different UML diagrams like Use-Case diagram, Activity diagram, Sequence level diagram, Class level diagram and System level diagram. Adopted Object Oriented Standards in the coding style and standards. Have given demonstration to client front of our CIO and VP. Implemented whole project less than 4 months instead of 5 months. Deployed whole Interface module on LINUX and UNIX platform also. Wrote PL/SQL Stored procedures to create duplicate orders and to delete third party orders. Implemented SOAP protocol to support outside third party vendors and to replace the RMI in all internal modules. Responsible for separating java code and HTML code from JSP Pages by using XML and XSL to provide simplicity and better performance. Use JavaScript in XSLT. Responsible for deploying Apache Struts in our architecture and created LS-Screen Generator using Struts with JSP and Tiles to make whole UI of our software generic and template based so our users can create customized view of the screen.
