Daily Duties at Cerner Corporation:

Managed technical staff implementing hospital information systems hardware, system and application software (web-based, real time and batch processing) and the telecommunications infrastructure. Project teams of Systems Engineers were selected from an available talent pool based on the services contracted for by each client. My responsibilities included: • Directed systems specialists at installed client sites in the process of analyzing, identifying and resolving hardware and/or software performance issues. • Resolved client issues regarding application errors and systems performance problems working closely with developers to isolate the problem, determine the fix and make the required change. • Worked with clients on post-installation system stabilization and resolution of infrastructure problems. Problems with hardware configuration, system and utility software, telecommunications and application software were addressed.
