Daily Duties at Amerijet International, Inc.:

Responsibility for managing the information technology group as well as an annual expense budget that exceeds $2 million and an annual capital budget averaging $500,000. Featured accomplishments follow: • Implemented and enhanced in-house developed ERP application. • Participated in the acquisition and systems integration of three logistics companies, an ocean freight forwarder, a trucking company and an international airline. • Implemented IBM blade virtualized servers operating MS Windows and Linux interfaced to a virtualized SAN. • Installed a 3 TB corporate SAN to house the data warehouse including the use of data mining tools. • Designed the disaster recovery plan and populated a combined data center and disaster recovery site. • Redesigned the wide area network to be high availability and fault tolerant with full security measures to the desktop work stations utilizing latest Cisco technology. • Converted 40 remote satellite connected locations to fractional T1 and DSL technology to increase bandwidth, improve performance and reliability while reducing costs. • Replaced all domestic telephone systems with IP based technology to reduce costs and improve quality of service. IP phones were also installed at all international locations to reduce costs. • Planned, designed and implemented IBM’s WebSphere portal application including integration of all corporate applications using RAD, Java, C++, MS SQL Server and DB/2 data base management.
