Daily Duties at Us Postal Service:

Process Improvement Accomplishments • Taught Process Documentation & Measurement classes to over 200 management & craft employees on the procedure used to monitor production. • Established and implemented methods and procedures designed to accurately monitor the plants ability to make timely delivery of mail both outgoing to the world and incoming to 42 local associate offices. • Held personal interviews with key craft employees to write flow charts including all the detail for their specific job function and then met with managers and supervisors to analyze and confirm the information received. • Collected data from the corporate database depicting the quality of mail shipments both incoming and outgoing to the area M.S.C. (Mesmic Sectional Control). • Evaluated data of test mail pieces seeded into system by Price Waterhouse Coopers proving the effectiveness or in-effectiveness of delivery goal standards nation wide from/to this plant. • Met daily with area postmasters and managers by teleconference to determine points of failure in the system, and then determine the best corrective course of action.
