Daily Duties at Invista:

Facilitated data analysis, review, tracking, and capture to ascertain raw material costs for polyester polymer resin manufacture. Finalized and submitted reports and charts outlining historic and projected polyester polymer costs for 3 facilities in North America and Europe – US, Mexico, and Germany. Devised and developed Point-of-View (POV) documents to verify and assess production chains, key market players, global trends, and resource allocation. Liaised with Sourcing Managers across all regions. Wrote macros in Visual Basic to automate and streamline redundant processes and eliminate data errors. Key Accomplishments: • Streamlined data collection by conceptualizing and automating capturing processes in 1 month; thereby realizing a 60% improvement in efficiency (deliverables published in 2-2.5 hours vs. 5-6 hours). • Innovated statistical interpretation for models predicting polymer costs by re-aligning methods and ensuring capture of current market trends. • Recipient of accolades and recognition of process improvement, procedure benchmarking, timely reporting, and excellence in task scheduling/management.
