Daily Duties at Hartz Mountain Corporation:

Identified, acquired, developed, and licensed technologies used in animal care OTC and pharmaceutical product applications. Developed new product and testing methodologies, designed and managed experiments, oversaw claim substantiations, and developed partnerships with suppliers, inventors, academic institutions, and customers (Wal-Mart, Target, Petco, Petsmart, and others). Supervised, coached, and counseled 14 employees. Actively involved in formulating new multivitamins and nutraceutical and functional ingredients.  Helped increase sales revenues $25,000,000 annually by developing strategic partnerships that enabled Hartz to get its products to market faster at a much lower cost; leveraged process optimization with just in time (JIT) deliveries to achieve $15,000,000 in annual savings.  Revitalized Animal Care by developing several new products within the category; earned the 2005 Innovative Product of the year award from the American Pet Products Management and Packaging Associations.  Played a leading role in developing and launching nearly 50 consumer products; implemented new QA system and other process improvements enabling Hartz to develop and launch 39 new products in two years.
