Daily Duties at Church & Dwight:
Manage efforts to identify, acquire, develop, and license technologies used in animal and human care over the counter (OTC) and pharmaceutical skin, hair, and household product applications. Screen and develop new products, support product claims, oversee new product development life cycles, serve as technical liaison between various stakeholder groups, and support efforts to research, identify, and implement new controlled delivery concepts. Oversee and submit all product claims (based upon internal and external research) for review, comment and approval. Led a team of managers, chemists, and outside consultants. Submitted ten patent applications for innovative products. Generated up to $10,000,000 in annual savings by optimizing the product development process and using local suppliers near manufacturing sites. Launched 10 new products with several additional in the pipeline; developed a green platform for Household, Personal, and Animal Care products. Rejuvenated existing product lines through new controlled delivery concepts while creating new technology and product platforms within the skin, hair, household and pet treatment areas; Added $15,000,000 in new revenues and cost savings.
