Daily Duties at Molex Inc.:
1998 to 2003 While performing the duties of system analyst I was required to create and keep accurate documentation so that the operations group could perform their jobs. I provided training to the users and operations on new processes. This was an exciting position because I had the opportunity to work with several different groups when maintenance was being planned. I was acting as a liaison between groups to ensure success of weekend maintenance. • Maintained system reports and reporting programs for all SAP systems per guidelines. • Created and updated system run books for batch jobs that were monitored by the operations group when processed. • Performed maintenance of the online batch processing system to ensure processing did not stop. Maintained old data and completed reorganization of the queues on a weekly basis. • Aided the UNIX support team in maintenance planning when hardware changes were required. • Planned system downtime as required to ensure conflicts were avoided between groups when hardware or SAP programs were updated.
