Daily Duties at Molex Inc:
In this position I was part of a 5 person team that managed a worldwide SAP computer system providing support to 30,000+ users in 58 plants located in 20+ countries around the world. We were charged with ensuring the SAP system did not crash or fail during 24x7 operations. Planned and coordinate maintenance for the week with each other member and any other group that was affected so as to fit in a five hour downtime window each weekend. • Wide span of SAP experience, including SAP maintenance, enhance performance of SAP R3 systems according to specifications and notes provided by SAP. • CTS configuration and completed system transports using in-house processes to move new or enhanced programs into production without causing interference to other processes. • Planned, coordinated, and completed system refreshes based on user requirements. • Participated in 24x7 on-call support rotation of worldwide SAP systems troubleshooting any problems that may have arisen off hours. • Maintained HP UNIX environments for the many SAP systems in house per given guidelines. • Utilized Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, Access, and Power Point in project planning. • Used Lotus Notes until 2005.
