Daily Duties at Hub International Of California:

Duties included but were not limited to the handling of our middle to large market commercial client's claims. Types of claims include construction defect, property, bodily injury, automobile, workers compensation, inland marine and EPLI. This particular position carried a case load of approximately 300 claims at all times. As I was hired on as an added value benefit, I provided and supported our clients with solutions specific to their business operations. I coordinated and conducted client claim reviews as well as claim reviews with TPA's and attorneys from inception to settlement. I reviewed multiple carrier policies to determine coverage or appropriate reporting and/or coverage issues arising out of a claim. Capability to review summons and complaints, leases and contracts for the purpose of determining proper handling of claims as well as liability and/or insurable interest and indemnification. Review of carrier coverage position correspondence and as appropriate would create correspondence on behalf of agency disputing carrier position. Maintained diary of files for follow-up and documented all follow-ups via notes in the database. Lastly, I provided loss control and safety meetings for clients with high volumes of claims and performed other specific duties as assigned.
