Daily Duties at America West Airlines (Now Us Airways):
As a Senior System Engineer for America West Airlines, I was responsible for the design and implementation of our dispatching infrastructure. Managing the Network Operating System (NOS) on all Production, Development and Test servers, and providing third level support on all production servers for our organization. Assisting project teams to evaluate infrastructure implications of various software solutions, including benchmarking and comparing multiple application alternatives. Performed software and server support for the entire company. Assisted with critical system outages, software upgrades, and capacity planning. Coordinated with business executives, software experts, help desks, and data source teams in a 24x7 availability environment.
