Daily Duties at Ameri Choice Delaware:
• On-site and telephonic case review applying nationally recognized criteria, Milliman and Interqual, to assist in making utilization review decisions. • Ensuring quality and appropriate level of care is provided to members while managing resources in a cost effective manner • Sole nurse for the Delaware plan reviewing skilled nursing facility and acute rehabilitation admissions and continued stays Competencies: o Ability to multitask and prioritize on a daily basis o Able to work independently and in a cross functional team and have received bonuses for claims review project as well as recognition from other units on annual evaluation o Computer proficiency. Assisted in new employee training and Super User group for institution of new IT documentation system
