The emergency response clean up in Mississippi, Alabama, and Louisiana after hurricane Katrina and Rita. Working directly with the Environmental Protection Agency, Federal Emergency Management Agency, and the United States Coast Guard. Responsibilities included daily meetings with EPA officials, safety / new hire orientation, daily financial management reports of that day’s activity including man hours as well as all subcontractors’ man hours and activity. Procuring purchase order consent with competitive 3 bid back up. Week end and month end reconciliation. The project totaled 8.5 million US dollars.
