Daily Duties at Hewlett Packard :

• This role was awarded for passion of six sigma and stretch role played as initiator of ‘Year of Excellence’ worldwide initiative. • Launched practice governance model, software quality effectiveness and communication initiatives across Siebel practice of 550 plus team. Implemented monthly “Healthcheck” review/monitoring of current status of projects to improve governance across practice. • Additionally played a strategic and initiator role in the ‘Year of Excellence’ initiative across the world at HP resulting in 700 plus projects logged across to bring improvements in various categories like productivity, operations, finance and employee - impacting various levels namely organization, delivery units, programs, projects and individuals. Year of Excellence was my six-sigma black belt project plus got trained in the ‘train the trainer for green belt projects’. • Raised the customer satisfaction survey score by 40% with improvements done in operations, workforce feedback as well as customers to bring about overall productivity improvements using Six Sigma methodology. • Transitioned and took ownership of Siebel Analytics from HP, US to offshore. Rollout of Siebel Analytics was completed and support was transitioned to India Team. Included MRM and CRM analytics. Took over the MRM/CRM sub areas like marketing costs, budgeting, pipeline analysis plus ETL like incremental loads, troubleshooting areas and escalation process. Led the Siebel Analytics team to support the marketing reports needed by leadership. • Led the implementation of Open View Service Desk for ticket management across World Wide CRM Support Users, regional support team and HP India. Also led the regional collaboration initiative for WW CRM Infrastructure Management team resulting in shared knowledge and processes across the world. • Brought about improvements to align along the ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) to meet expectations of leadership and bring excellence in support operations and process. • With monthly releases and quarterly releases to be delivered, strict adherence to configuration management was implemented for better understanding the impacts of changes being planned and analyzing the cost. Every project had to develop and implement a configuration management plan, present the CI status accounting report , in addition to having regular CM audits. In essence followed the ITIL-CMDB practices in our projects. Siebel Integration Project Manager • Successfully led a 15-member team for Siebel Version 7.5 roll out of R2.1 with 5 interfaces. There were 4 batch interfaces and one real time interface developed given the design specification from regions and architects. • Delivered the project with zero defects and ensuring tight defining of project scope, capacity plan and estimations. • The project execution was monitored thru the quality process of CMM Level 5. Utilized the metrics like traceability matrix, defect density in technical reviews and unit testing to show improvements from previous project. Tracked risk and issues for better mitigation and reducing repeat issues. The quality drive led to no regression issues in user acceptance testing of the release. Environment – Siebel 7.5 full suite of Application including Siebel Analytics, Oracle Database, EAI, XML, Brio, ITIL, CMMI Level 5, TQM
