($1B internet holding company with 10+ consolidated subsidiaries across internet and software space) Assistant Corporate Controller May 1999 – September 2002 • Managed the corporate accounting department consisting of eight individuals, including general ledger and month end close, accounts payable, payroll and stock administration, cash management and financial systems. • Responsible for the preparation of U.S. GAAP monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements for $1B business comprised of over 10 diverse subsidiary units. • Directed external SEC reporting functions including: preparation of Forms 10K, Proxy Statement, 10Qs, 8Ks, S3s and S4s. • Prepared and documented purchase accounting and opening balance sheets for 10+ CMGI acquisitions and related footnote and SEC disclosures. • Prepared annual corporate budget and led monthly detailed financial reviews with subsidiary management • Prepared and presented internal financial reports and related analysis for senior management and the Board of Directors
