Daily Duties at Palmetto Health:

Total Rewards Analyst (8/06 - 9/07): Contributed strategic design to Palmetto Health’s Total Rewards plans and programs through: financial and statistical modeling, data analysis and strategy development, program evaluation, job evaluation, compliance, survey management and program administration.  Analyzed current Total Reward programs to determine if less costly programs could deliver similar results while maintaining a competitive advantage.  Reviewed plan documents for consistency and clarity.  Organized health awareness fairs for the three campuses.  Consulted with directors, managers and staff on Total Rewards issues to increase understanding and resolve matters. Compensation Analyst (12/05 - 10/06): Supported the compensation objectives of Palmetto Health, including job analysis and design, job evaluation and job description documentation, completion of salary surveys, documenting compensation procedures and compensation programs, and preparing financial modeling for analysis and the budgeting process.  Assisted in the development of the hospital’s first pay for performance plan and the implementation of a web-based performance management system.  Created and performed maintenance functions regarding jobs and positions in Lawson.  Analyzed compensation data from multiple sources and synthesized data into meaningful information and reports for all levels within the organization. HR Coordinator (11/04 - 12/05): Provided direct support for four nurse recruiters, three professional recruiters and one allied health recruiter at South Carolina’s largest healthcare system.  Developed and maintained the first tracking system that allows users to analyze qualified applicant information on a periodic basis.  Processed recruitment and referral bonuses and processed relocation reimbursement in a timely manner to ensure new-hire satisfaction.  Coordinated on-boarding activities for new hires, such as credentialing and health clearances. Team Leader (7/02 - 11/04): Supervised a staff of 10 Registration Representatives and oversaw the front-end operations at a Family Practice Residency Office during multiple reorganizations. Stepped into a brand new position at the Center during a time of change.  Managed approximately 50 physicians’ patient care schedules in an effective and efficient manner to ensure patient appointments were available.  Participated on a team of managers to restructure the practice’s patient flow.  Developed a training manual for Logician, an appointment scheduling system, to train employees.  Utilized mediation and problem solving skills to resolve inter-personal conflicts among patients, staff and physicians.
