Daily Duties at Stanford Group Company:
Manage multiple projects within the Stanford Group Company envelope within the United States. Scope of responsibilities included managing the internal client relationships, managing teams comprised of SGC and parent company resources, vendor management, budgetary responsibilities for approximately 5 million in capital expenditures and 2 million dollars in IT costs. Platforms included: Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows Server 2003, Sun Solaris, Linux, .NET, MS Access, Crystal Reports, Java and HTML, Sungard Brass, Sungard U2, Thomson One, Bloomberg, BigDough. Projects included: Creation of a steering committee to ensure that all projects were appropriately reviewed and prioritized Implementation of Brass for Equity order management Implementation of U2 for Equity market making and trading Migrate of newly acquired groups into Stanford including all telecom and infrastructure needs Execute IT portion of new office openings, including all telecom, infrastructure and AV implementations in new offices – (i.e. San Francisco, Dallas, New York, Boston, Washington, Atlanta, Lafayette) Migration of WRG CRM data to BigDough CRM platform Implementation of QED for Fixed Income Work with IT and Security teams to establish and implement company wide standards Ensure that SGC upgraded seamlessly to new MPLS network configuration in lockstep with parent company Assist in the selection of offshore corporate development and infrastructure partners
