Daily Duties at Ashoka: Innovators For The Public:
Executive Office – Research Officer and Media Coordinator to CEO: Conduct research for Founder/CEO, Bill Drayton; manage writing, speeches and media projects involving the CEO, including background research, speech preparation, and speech attendance; assist with writing and editing articles; assist with management of support staff, including hiring, supervision and mentoring of administrative assistants and interns; edit Fellow profiles. Social Financial Services (SFS) – Program Officer: Provide program support, including management of support staff and interns; administrative management of project working with large multi-national bank supporting Ashoka Fellows in Mexico, Argentina and Brazil; monitoring of SFS-related topics, tools and programs; proposal writing and editing. Social Investment Entrepreneurs (SIE) – Program Officer: Assist in strategizing and managing SIE program supporting social entrepreneurs focusing on alternative financing schemes around the world; assist with writing multi-million dollar project proposals, including project strategizing, budgeting and creating new measurement and evaluation process for the project and organization; create online information portal for SIE program; create information documents on program and Fellows; edit Fellow profiles.
