Daily Duties at Jato Communications Corp:
Developed strategy, design, and architecture for Business Support Systems (BSS), including selection of component applications, implementation of software components, and integration of BSS applications through a middleware layer (MQSeries™). Applications included Order Management, Provisioning, Trouble Management, SFA, e-Business, XML connections (e-Bonding), Financials, and Billing. Worked with SAN’s, data warehousing, Oracle utilities, XML, web extensibility of applications, data mapping, and middleware-based data integration. • Built Efficient Business Support Systems Infrastructure. Crafted and executed BSS strategy and architecture as part of JATO’s first IS/IT strategic technology plan. Recruited, lead, and coached a team of 13 project managers and technical professionals in identifying, prioritizing, and executing systems projects. Completed successful implementation of applications in 12 months and under budget of approximately $15 million. • Negotiated Favorable Vendor Contracts for Software and Services. Demonstrated strong vendor-management experience, including ability to align vendors with the IT infrastructure strategies and solid contract negotiating skills.
