Daily Duties at Vwr International:
Implemented and managed guidelines of Group Purchasing Organizations and corporate contracts for key and national customers. Customers included Amgen Research, Antigenics, Boston Scientific, Cambridge Isotope Laboratories, Charles River Laboratories, New England Medical Center and University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Negotiated deals with key manufacturers on capital equipment and services. Conducted Quarterly Savings Reviews, drove Capital Research Equipment Standardization, and developed Value Added Programs for Key customers. Set up vendor shows and technical seminars at the customer's site, and assisted in preparation for Clinical Testing Trials. Participated as exhibitor and sponsor in Massachusetts Biotechnology Council (MBC), and Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) vendor trade shows.
