Daily Duties at Us Army (Cecom):
Determined allocations of funds for staff, supplies, materials, and equipment and authorizes purchases. Determined scope of educational program offerings and prepared drafts of course schedules and descriptions to estimate staffing and facility requirements. Directed and coordinated activities of instructors. Established program philosophy plans, policies, and academic codes of ethics to maintain educational standards for student screening, placement and training. Evaluated programs to determine effectiveness, efficiency and utilization and to ensure activities complied with regulations. Organized and directed committees of specialists and staff to provide technical and advisory assistance for programs. Planned and coordinated research and educational services to assist organizations in product development and marketing. Planned, directed, and monitored instructional methods and content for educational activity programs. Prepared and submited budget requests to solicit program funding. Reviewed and approved new programs or recommend modifications to existing programs. Reviews and interprets government codes and develops programs to ensure facility safety, security, and maintenance. Taught classes or courses to students. Wrote articles, manuals, and other publications and assisted in the distribution of promotional literature. Assisted in the upgrade and revision of over 62 lessons plans and 45 practical exercises.
