Prepared and reviewed operational reports and schedules to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Recommended cost saving methods, such as supply changes and disposal of records to improve efficiency of department. Flawlessly received and directed the distribution of equipment and systems worth over $43 billion dollars, transforming the unit to an automated digitally ready combat power. Directed the training and validation exercises. One of only 21 technical experts selected worldwide by the Army to establish training standards and validation of the artillery digital battlefield. Established the communications framework for a digital network. Validated satellite digital tactical communications between Fort Hood and the South Korean Peninsula. Developed plans to safeguard computer files against accidental or unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure and to meet emergency data processing needs. Modified computer security files to incorporate new software, correct errors, or change individual access status. Monitored use of data files and regulated access to safeguard information in computer files. Tested data processing system to ensure functioning of data processing activities and security measures.
